Why a new website? Why didn't we put the entire infield drip system area in grass as we have the money already set aside as donations? We need it !!!! Needed more water also!
The website is always a work in progress, so check back often and use the sale and swap areas, send us some pictures of your planes and don't forget to sign into your own profile and make any changes that you see fit as freq and radios that you are trying out etc. If you don't download a good picture of yourself to me to put in your profile, I won't be responsible for what I come up with or what I give to Bud Clark to embellish.
In answer to the question about the grass, take a look at the first picture in the news section, and you will see the picture of the grass area from 400 ft up from my U-Can-Do and a Fly Can One digital camera. You can enlarge the picture just by clicking on it. The board spent the rest of the $1700.00 allotted for grass to finish the entire 6000 sq ft of the pit area. This was cheaper than the cost per sq ft that we paid for the first session that we installed ourselves, thanks to Evergreen Turf for the great price, installed and rolled. The water pump and drip irrigation is having no trouble keeping up with the two times a week watering to maintain the grass, thanks to the over watering by the Felix family to help get things started and the grass is past the shock of transplanting and doing so well that we had to do our mowing Thursday 6-26-08

Do you allow helicopters? Yes, Choppers and fixed wing are flying on a time shared basis, common sense dictates seperate times for each for now and a large part of the future parking area to the west will be set back for a helipad, as more grass is laid, more area will be available.
